SFP Move to the City / New Site Launched

Hello everyone and welcome to the brand new Palpitations.net! We hope that our new site makes it easier than ever for all of you to keep up with your favorite rock & rollers.

 

Since we last spoke, the band’s underwent a number of significant changes. First of all, we moved to New York City! Content that we’d rocked the socks of rural Pennsylvania just about as much as they could reasonably be rocked, we moved our groove two hundred miles east to the big city.

 

Furthermore, we recently downsized due to – what else? – artistic differences. Bassist Kristin Gdula left the group, resulting in a reorganization of band responsibilities. Bass guitar duties are now handled by Greg or Garrett, depending on what other guitar or keyboard parts the song requires. Ultimately, the change has resulted in a tighter and more musically unified group, and we've been more prolific in the past few months than ever before.

 

We haven’t yet begun playing gigs in the city, due mostly to a lack of wheels. Currently, we’re working on a lot of new material and saving up funds for a band van. Rest assured that as soon as it becomes economically feasible for us to start playing live, we’ll do so. We can't wait either.
